Sr. Officer Treasury Accountant (Banking Operations)

Role Purpose:

To assist the bank operation team in managing the bank accounts including but not limited to the cash management tasks, reconciliation process, updating the bank records and assist the business by dealing with all queries relating to the bank accounts.

Accountabilities:

Cash Management and Reporting

• Responsible for updating, reviewing and reconciling multiple bank balances (including but not limited to: Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and other Operational Accounts) with amounts recorded in the General Ledger, on daily basis.
• Responsible for preparing and updating the daily cash management activities
• Prepare daily cash position
• Prepare the bank operation accounting entries
• Provide assistance to the bank operation manager in meeting all internal and external Audit requirements related to cash management.
• Produce and adhere to process manuals and procedures related to Cash Management
• Produce, maintain and communicate up-to-date reports to the finance team and other departments.
• Provide support to other business functions in dealing with queries raised by customers related to premium collection and claims payment.
• Ensure all outstanding reconciling items and variances are resolved within established timeframes

Bank Relation

• Provide assistance to the bank operation manager in handling banking process and controls and to resolve operating issues related to banking operations
• Support the bank operation manager in validating and executing daily banking transactions.
• Maintain documentation and administration of online banking facilities.
• Coordinate and contact the banks on all operational requirements

• Experience in Finance environment
• Excellent communication (written & verbal)
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Bilingual speaker (Arabic & English)
• Has a relevant experience
