Job Description

Role Purpose:

To analyze and evaluate key performance indicators that assist and support the management team in taking strategic decisions for industry competition along with Investor Relations management. 

Accountabilities:

1.Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain frequent reports requested by different business stakeholders.
  • Adhering to & delivering upon needed changes & updates to regulators’ frequent reports.
  • Keeping a track of each submitted monthly, quarterly & annual reports.

2.Analysis:

  • Conducting various analyses that helps the management to develop an understanding of the business current position and highlight possible risks & challenges.
  • Create detailed comparison between top billing providers and analyze their trends and behaviors.
  • Developing different parameters for each analysis, (Region, Industry, Nationality etc..)

3.Policies & Procedures:

  • Full documentation of each conducted report and analysis, ensuring retaining the know-how on a department level.
  • Archiving reported and submitted documents, to abide to any review or audit review requests.

 4.External Business Intelligence:

  • Utilize data of insurance companies from different sources and research to analyze their financials and provide the management team with required insights.
  • Produce quarterly health insurance industry report based on quarterly published financial accounts giving insights and forecast about the players in the industry.
  • Develop and report key performance indicators for the top insurance companies which include gross written premium analysis, earned premium, claims, expenses, loss ratio, and contribution and benchmarking them with Bupa to provide insights.
  • Create detailed comparisons between the top insurance companies and each major player in the market separately through growth ratios, performance ratios, leverage ratios, valuation ratios, and fair value ratios.

Skills

  • Strong MS office skills.
  • Analytical and reporting skills with a good understanding of the business drivers.
  • BSC Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or other related major.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Process and results oriented, with strong attention to details.
