Job Description
• Develop innovative solutions to fulfill business’ requirements to keep ahead of the competiors
• Execute changes to improve the reliability, scalability, extensibility, security and performance of developed systems.
• Develop using state-of-the-art development tools within the systems development environments to achieve the most efficient mix of system design and software
• Implement approved innovative ideas by the business on time and within budget
• Ensure that Bupa is ahead of competition in terms of value added services through the use of technology
• Integgrate apps using modern technologies and tools
• Execute and adopt best practices on full development life cycle is followed
• Write software codes to meet the requirements of existing code standards and conventions
• Provide quality assurance for solutions being developed before releasing to production
• Development & modification of existing applications
• Develop & integration applications using best practices and industry stadards.
• Execute level #3 application support requests in Service Desk
• Support continued enhancements of business applications to meet the business needs
• Prepapre technical documentations in standard formats
Skills
• College degree in Computer Science of Computer Engineering or any other closely related field
• Technical certifications from various Microsoft technologies e.g. MCPD, MCSD,MCTS
• Experience and proficiency in .NET 4.5 development including ASP, .NET, MVC, AJAX, jQuery
• Proven track record in integrating apps using Web Services, APIs, SDK, etc.
• Experience and proficiency in SQL (latest versions) including writing T-SQL queries, SQL Server Agent, stored procedures and triggers
• Experience in all SDLC phases
• Experience in full lifecycle development & technical architecture
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• 8+ years’ experience in Systems development with 3 years in the role of lead developer
• Accountable for the success of the overall Technology Services and Business Transformation within Bupa Arabia
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Dedication to quality and superior service standards and practices
• Ability to suggest solutions to satisfy business requirements
• Ability to interact with executive and senior management / staff / individuals at all levels
