Specialist - .net

Develop and maintain high quality and performance, innovative, fit for purpose application software to meet the business requirements in line with the Bupa business strategy by using modern technologies and methods with proper analysis and documentation.

System Development

• Develop innovative solutions to fulfill business’ requirements to keep ahead of the competiors
• Execute changes to improve the reliability, scalability, extensibility, security and performance of developed systems.
• Develop using state-of-the-art development tools within the systems development environments to achieve the most efficient mix of system design and software
• Implement approved innovative ideas by the business on time and within budget
• Integrate apps using modern technologies and tools
• Execute and adopt best practices on full development life cycle
• Introduce software codes to meet the requirements of existing code standards and conventions
• Provide quality assurance for solutions being developed before release to production
• Develop & modify existing applications
• Develop & integrate applications using best practices and industry stadards.
• Ensure written codes meet the requirements of existing code standards and conventions

Application Support

• Execute application support requests in Service Desk
• Support continued enhancements of business applications to meet the business needs
• Prepare technical documentations in standard formats
• Review with IT Service team the planned maintenance of infrastructure utilization by the applications
• Support and escalate the process with the  IT Service Manager for applications built by the development team

Project Management

• Project coordination and deliverables within IT
• Ensure projects are properly planned, organized, documented, and executed by meeting operational and business standards and adhering to international best practices
• Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes for the IT programs and projects on hand
• Suggest and recommend innovations, enhancements, corrective actions for IT projects
• Ensure the delivery of all requirements to complete the project successfully, and IT program and project deliverables to meet the business expectations, customers experience, and quality of service
• Ensure that IT programs and projects risks are identified, analyzed, mitigated and escalated, and handled as appropriate for the business requirements
• Develop and maintain methodologies, approaches, standard templates, documentation, status updated, and data to support programs

• Experience and proficiency in .NET framework 4.5 or above development including Asp.net, AJAX, JQuery, Node.js, .Net Core, MVC, Angular.js, Web API, Design Patterns, etc.
• Experience and proficiency in SQL (latest versions) including writing T-SQL queries, SQL Server Agent, stored procedures, triggers, SSRS and SSIS.
• Proven experience in SharePoint development and other related Technologies
• Proven track record in designing and delivering system solutions in medium to large size companies
• Experience in full lifecycle development & technical architecture
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
