Job Description
The Senior Manager - Enterprise Credit Risk & Intelligence is responsible to champion the development and management of a world class credit risk organization to support Bupa Arabia in the Saudi market. Demonstrate a dedication to internal and external customer excellence. Should regularly present to senior leadership, detailed credit reporting and analyses, to ensure strategic and operational decisions are fact-based.
Credit Risk & Intelligence
- Identify trends, patterns, procedural and strategic opportunities that will improve loss prevention, detection results, and customer satisfaction.
- Enhance analytical strength in the team by building subject matter expertise in internal models, credit policy, business trends as well as technical skills.
- Identify and maintain appropriate controls to ensure business strategies are achieved within the established corporate risk appetite.
- Conduct analysis of current and historic data (e.g. authorizations, write off data, chargebacks) to keep our systems and processes at the cutting edge of risk analytics.
Credit Policy & Procedures
- Ensure processes are in place to provide awareness, monitoring and responses to address emerging risk or opportunities.
- Recommending adequate corporate/SME credit policy and procedures to close process gaps.
Systems & Technology Enhancements
- Perform analysis and enhance analytic tools to monitor portfolio credit risk and flag accounts for review and
- Engage in continuous efforts to enhance department initiatives.
Reporting & Presentation
- Producing regular management reports timely and accurately
- Establish and follow appropriate governance and escalation processes to identify and report on emerging trends related to the credit risk of the market.
People Management & Customer Satisfaction
- Prioritize and ensure alignment with departmental, divisional, and corporate objectives.
- Maintain strong relationship with all business departments
Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or related field.
Years of Experience
- 8 – 10 years' experience
Skills Required (Technical/Managerial)
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent reporting skills
- Problem solver
- Excellent communication skills, English language
- Advanced Microsoft skills (Mainly Excel & Power Point)
- Confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders
- Expertise in manipulating and analysing very large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets using SAS/SQL is a plus
