Role Purpose:
This role is the backbone of Bupa Arabia—responsible for running the critical systems, tools, and services that enable business continuity, security, and efficiency across the enterprise. Ensure stability and resilience at scale while modernizing our technology foundation for the future,
seeking a hands-on, technically strong leader to transform and manage our core enterprise IT operations, responsible for delivering seamless IT services, modernizing legacy platforms, and enabling business agility through scalable and secure enterprise solutions.
This role balances short-term operational excellence with long-term transformation across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments, partner with business, product, application engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure leaders to ensure enterprise IT capabilities align with strategic priorities, compliance requirements, and user needs.
Key Accountabilities:
1- Enterprise Applications;
- Own, manage, and optimize enterprise platforms including ERP (Oracle, Dynamics), CRM (Salesforce), and HR systems
- Drive end-to-end delivery, vendor management, upgrades, and integration with internal and external systems
- Lead modernization of legacy platforms to enable agility and cross-functional workflows
2- IT Governance & Compliance;
- Establish and enforce robust IT governance frameworks, security standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SAMA, NCA)
- Collaborate with Information Security and Risk teams to align on enterprise-wide controls and audits
3- IT Service Management;
- Oversee ITIL-based service management (incident, change, problem, release)
- Monitor and improve SLA performance and service delivery across the enterprise
4- IT Security Operations;
- Manage day-to-day IT security operations for enterprise platforms, end-user devices, and collaboration tools.
- Implement endpoint protection, identity and access management (IAM), patching, and vulnerability remediation.
- Coordinate with the Cybersecurity team on threat detection, incident response, and enterprise-wide security policies.
5- End-User Support;
- Manage IT helpdesk operations, hardware/software provisioning, device lifecycle, and collaboration tools
- Elevate the digital workplace experience for 3,000+ employees with a focus on automation, responsiveness, and satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience with Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, and other enterprise platforms.
- Strong track record of modernizing legacy systems, leading cloud migrations, and driving enterprise-wide digital transformation.
- Deep understanding of on-premises and hybrid/cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and system integration.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and large-scale implementations.
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to dive deep when needed while setting strategic direction.
- Strong stakeholder management skills—able to collaborate with Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, and external regulators.
- Background in insurance, healthcare, or other regulated industries is a plus.
- Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications are highly desirable, such as ITIL Expert / Managing Professional, COBIT, TOGAF, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect Expert, Oracle Certified Professional, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect.
- Additional certifications in Cloud Platforms (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional) or Project/Program Management (PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe Agilist) are a plus.
