Manager - Government Collection & Recovery (Riyadh)

Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE:

To ensure achievement of monthly collection target of the team while minimizing the risk exposure threshold of the assigned book and understand the clients’ finance requirement and to resolve complex collection obstacles.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1 - Monitor Debtor & collection Reports:

  • Review debtor report to arrange communication with clients for past dues and forthcoming instalments
  • Lead the weekly debtors meeting with collection team to ensure collection targets are met.
  • Follow up on the warnings issued to clients and ensure collection.
  • Liaise with credit control about monthly collection forecasts.

 

2 - Collect Smart & Enhancements:

  • Ensure that the collection team are updating all activities made by collection team under each account in Collect Smart with accurate and correct feedback following the policies and procedures.
  • Promote digitalization of projects and more automations to replace manual process and enhance efficiency.

 

3 - People Management:

  • Manage the collection and lead chaser team
  • Ensure set objectives are followed and measured semi annually
  • Support with head count phasing as per AOP
  • Conduct interviews and ensure hiring is within Bupa Arabia values and talent requirement.
  • Coach and mentor as necessary to ensure team are performing as per the set objectives and targets.
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching for current new joiners.
  • To ensure the team achieved their set collection targets.

 

4 – Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with credit control policy.
  • Follow Bupa Values, policies, and procedures.
  • Abide by rules of engagement with brokers / clients as per the agreed protocol.

Skills

  • Fluent in English/Arabic and very good computer literate (Word & Excel).
  • Excellent communication skills Written/Speaking.
  • Good numerical knowledge and financial statements.
  • Excellent managerial and team leading skills.
