Manager - Finance Policies & Compliance

Role Purpose:

To manage Finance function policies and procedures which include drafting, updating and arranging for endorsements of policy or procedure to ensure Bupa Arabia and the group are in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

1-Policies and procedure:

• Manage the policy and procedure function which includes drafting, reviewing, and updating any policy or procedure for finance team.
• Develop and maintain robust review and control processes, policies and procedures to support accurate reporting and prevent/detect suspicious transactions.
• Ensure change management and policy changes due to Oracle ERP implementation are captured and documented.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the company's financial practices and policies adhere to Saudi Arabian financial regulations, guidelines, and standards.
• Cross-departmental Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments such as Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure financial policies align with broader company strategies and goals.

2- Finance Governance:

• Ensure delegation of authorities and proper segregation of duties are applied and followed in Finance Control function and address any existing gaps.
• Develop and monitor internal financial controls.
• Manage risks, internal audit and external audit management letter points and following up on the progress with all finance functions.
• Risk Assessment: Collaborating with risk management teams to identify potential financial risks, evaluating their impact, and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
• Governance Oversight: Overseeing the implementation of proper governance practices within the finance department, including adherence to internal controls and ethical standards.
• Regulatory Updates: Staying updated on changes in financial regulations, industry practices, and market trends that might impact the company's financial policies and governance framework.
• Continuous Improvement: Review and enhance financial policies and governance practices continuously to adapt to changing regulatory environments and evolving business needs.

• Have a good experience within Financial Accounting
• CA / CPA / CMA is a preferable
• Saudi Insurance experience is preferable
• Good communication skills
• Fluent English
