Manager – Banking Operations

Job Description

Role Purpose:

To control Bupa Arabia banks accounts to ensure smooth operations by managing the cash flow, maintaining bank accounts, and building a healthy relation with all banks.

 

Cash Management and Reporting

  • Oversee daily cash management activities
  • Monitoring the execution of funding and payments on a daily basis
  • Prepare daily cash position
  • Coordinate with investment team in the required cash flow
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly cash flow forecast
  • Analyze the monthly cash flow and understand the main contributor of Cash in/out
  • Responsible for reviewing the bank reconciliation
  • Managing bank operation accounting entries

 

Bank Relations

  • Manage bank relations to establish strong network and to ensure smooth operation
  • Review banks agreements and arrangement and provide proper recommendation to the management
  • Review agreement and facility terms and conditions
  • Actively participate in negotiation with different banks on any provided services

 Policy, Procedure and Authority Matrix

  • Review and improve the current process and procedure
  • Prepare the policy for the treasury function
  • Understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes
  • Manage the DOA (Board resolution/Bank Mandate) and ensuring authority is reflected properly in all bank accounts
  • Review the Authority Matrix and Bank Mandate on an on-going basis and propose any required enhancement 

 

Transformation

  • Review, implement and monitor the electronic banking offered by different banks from time to time.
  • Review, recommend and implement process improvement in treasury function
  • Lead the digital transformation of the treasury function to the new system

 

Team Management

  • Manage and monitor the bank operation team outcomes
  • Ensure proper coaching and development of the team members

Skills

·          Excellent communication (written & verbal)

·          Excellent numerical and analytical skills
