§ Keep track of portfolio holdings price movements § Analyse & interpret key market/econocmic data and analyse impact on portfolio holdings § Lead ad-hoc analysis on portfolio holdings or market data |
§ Ensures timely preparing & communication of bi-weekly portfolio commentary § Ensures accurate calculations of analytics before submission § Ensures databases is documented and updated regularly |

Investment Due Diligence |
§ Liase with counterparties in gathering quantitative and qualitiative data § Conduct return & risk analysis on potential investments and ensure accuracy of calculations § Conduct peer performance analysis as part of comprehensive research § Ensure financial modelling & scenario stress testing calculations are accurate § Conduct qualitative assessment when necessary § Liaise on legal document reviews if necessary |
§ Ensures accurate and timely submission of investment recommendations § Ensures all diligence documents are gathered and stored

Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting |
§ Monitor assigned portfolio holdings valuations and key developments and ensure document updates § Attend quarterly performance calls/webcast updates § Ensure periodic communication with fund managers & sukuk brokers and keep track of updates on performance, organization & terms § Prepare quarterly/ semi annual performance updates on key portfolio holdings § Prepare monthly investment report and Investment Commettee materials |
§ Ensure all regulatory and internal reportings are maintained |

Transaction Execution |
§ Communication with external/internal counterparties to execute trades § Prepare necessary execution documents and ensure timely approvals § Ensure transaction entries are accurate and timely in the system |

Strategic / Operating Planning |
§ Annual/ ad-hoc review of investment policy statement and liaise with advisor(s) § Annual update of operating plan file and ensure accuracy of information § Assist in annual/ad-hoc assessments of portfolio asset allocation |
§ Assists in preparing investment income annual operating plan |
Skills
- Good knowledge in financial instruments and capital markets
- Good knowledge in financial statements analysis
- Strong understanding of Excel applications
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English (vebal and written)
Education
Finance / Accounting / Economics
