Job Description
Role Purpose:
To drive data-informed decision-making across the organization by leading advanced analytics initiatives, generating actionable strategic and operational insights, and overseeing the business aspects of data governance and BI platform strategy.
Key Accountabilities:
1- Data Storytelling;
- Translate complex analytics into clear, persuasive insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Present trends and findings to influences business actions and supports performance improvement.
- Create dashboards and models that turn raw data into actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Translate KPI’s into visuals to enable rapid, informed decision-making.
2- Business Intelligence;
- Define and manage BI requirements to ensure tools and platforms meet evolving business needs and user demands.
- Collaborate with IT to align technical infrastructure with business goals and promote scalable analytics.
3- Data Governance;
- Establish governance standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across the analytics value chain.
- Engage with data owners and IT to enforce data policies and build enterprise-wide trust in analytics.
4- Business Analytics;
- Enable business users through curated datasets, access protocols, and guided onboarding to foster a culture of data empowerment.
- Use predictive modelling and trend analysis to support operational and financial strategies.
Skills
- Preferred experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science
- Solid statistical analysis, predictive modelling, machine learning techniques.
- Proficiency in analytics programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong data visualization skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences
- Stakeholder Management
- Significant experience in the healthcare or insurance industry
- Solid track record of building and leading analytics teams, developing data-driven insights, and influencing business decisions.
- Experience with data governance principles and BI platform management.
- Master’s degree is an advantage
Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related
