Head - Sales Operations

Job Description

The Head – Sales Operations will oversee the Sales Support, Forecast & Performance Management and Sales System functions that impact sales effectiveness and efficiency including process improvement, projects to support sales revenue and profit growth in line with business strategy, subsequently defines data-driven action strategies in order to consistently optimize the business’s commercial performance. The role will ensure that Corporate Sales is following all regulatory mandates.

 

Responsibilities

 

Sales Systems

  • Design internal process for new and existing sales channels with the objective of ensuring efficient, smooth customer journey, and achievement of sales objectives.
  • Automate and improve the efficiency of existing Sales systems by designing enhancement recommendations based on business requirements.
  • Construct system manuals, user guides and training material for all system related processes and work flows.
  • Monitor system and technology performance and changes by generating periodical reports to ensure proper functionality and usage of all sales systems
  • Ensure successful test of new system before releasing the new enhanced or developed tool to the business.
  • Monitor cost efficiencies analysis versus quality at each step of sales processes with the aim of improving overall process effectiveness
  • Manage sales system development with all related business partners (IT, system development team, Legal, risk)

 

Project Management and Compliance Assurance

  • Plan and execute projects for solution development to enhance internal operations for smooth internal sales work flow based on system developments
  • Lead developments and implementation with IT for increased automation level of internal sales work flow
  • Launch sales projects by utilizing best practice project methodology from scoping to evaluation to support the sales function in continuously improving and supporting business objectives (Internal and external)
  • Apply regulatory requirements to the process
  • Implement checkpoint in the workflow
  • Regulator reporting (SAMA and CCI reports)
  • Alignment with legal for contracts update and changes
  • Mange all audit requirements
  • Protecting process from violation and risk

 

Sales Forecast

  • Devise initiatives toward improving forecasting excellence
  • Create forecast models and tools, analyse trends and ensure data is accurate for solutions
  • Evaluate all major forecasting matters for resolution and project preparation enhancement
  • Analyse developing sales trends in comparison to forecasts business enhancement
  • Advise the management in demand planning and forecasting assumptions, analysis, and decisions

 

Sales Performance

  • Design new forecasting models, update and recommend alternative data quantity for forecast
  • Develop & implement sales policies and procedures to ensure sales department effectiveness and efficiency
  • Assess sales by determining filtration of data through rate & revenue class for various companies
  • Formulating strategy for achieving annual sales goal by Analysing territory, funnel review distribution to achieve sales targets
  • Lead sales and operation planning process to enable demand-supply balancing analysis
  • Develop measurable KPI’s to track and evaluate forecasts to meet market needs
