Job Description
The Head – Provider Relations (Eastern Region) will achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio for the business by managing the providers’ unit cost, prices reduction, reconciliation accounts and shortfalls, and maintain professional relationship with all Network Providers.
Responsibilities
Reconciliation of the Accounts
- Lead the required session of setting the net providers statement efficiency forecast set by the business.
- Analyze, monitor the cost effectiveness of the unit and utilization of services of the providers to control and drop it year after year.
- Negotiate the reconciliation with the sensitive and major accounts.
- Control the achievement of the net providers’ statement efficiency and lead to take the necessary tactical changes to the work in order to ensure that targets are met.
- Prepare presentation to the owners of top 20 provider, at least once/year to highlight the trends and errors.
- Ensure that the reconciliation is conducted on regular basis and in line with the CCHI regulations.
Contract Management
- Make sure that all signed contracts with the providers are aligned with CCHI regulation and business policy.
- Review and maintain the existing and renewed contracts to identify and resolve issues that ensure better commercial terms and improve operation.
- Make sure that all the agreements are renewed on time with the best trading terms and conditions.
- Ensure a wide national and international network coverage.
Better Commercial Terms
- Lead the required planning sessions of setting the better prices, volume, prompt payment discounts and new discount structures.
- Improve the commercial trading terms by negotiating and signing up better prices and discounts to guarantee that Bupa will achieve the price reduction targets set on annual basis.
- Control and monitor the achievements and drawbacks and take the necessary decisions to ensure that the target set is achieved.
- Negotiate and agree with the providers for better prices.
Communications and Trends Resolutions
- Manage and maintain professional relationships with providers, engaging with key personnel across all levels of the organisation including senior management and board members.
- Plan, coordinate and carry regular visits to the providers in order to maintain with them professional relationship.
- Follow up by phone and with written correspondences on issues raised during negotiation with providers.
- Keep continuous relation with all business units that include proper delivery of all the projects set by the management.
Leadership and Projects Management
- Recruit the well and highly qualified resources for provider relations.
- Assess and evaluate the operational performance of the team through close monitoring, regular activity reports and good communication.
- Plan, Coordinate and report officially to the management all the activities and the results that are taking place for the projects assigned by the business.
People Management
- Ensure and facilitate goal setting; manage and constantly review individual performance
- Provide regular feedback, coaching and development
- Motivate, empower and enable direct reports by providing the necessary tools and support required to achieve the organizational development objectives
