Senior Executive Manager – Ecommerce Growth

The primary role of Ecommerce Growth to develop the strategy of growing Bupa ecommerce business. Identify, attract, and acquire new business and boost retention, with the aim to reach and surpass the company’s revenue and growth goals. Work closely with internal teams to innovative online engagement strategies to expand online reach into new markets and build a funnel of prospects, hence, drive sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and customer acquisition and retention. This position will work closely with Marketing, Finance, IT and other functions to drive Digital Sales strategies for Bupa Arabia. This position will also manage day to day site operations, as well as online transactions and conversions.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

1- ECommerce Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Define and execute a comprehensive ecommerce growth strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives. This includes market research, identifying growth opportunities, creating action plans, and ensuring scalability of solutions.
  • Create strong cross-functional relationships across multiple Bupa Arabia teams to foster shared learning and leverage best practices.
  • Manage relevent stakeholders to continually increase conversion rates by evolving site usability, and optimizing the proposition and promotions opportunities.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and technology teams to align on business objectives.
  • Create annual and quarterly eCommerce growth roadmaps with clear targets.
  • Implement omnichannel approaches to boost customer engagement and conversion rates.
  • Manage Ecommerce P&L. Oversee all financial aspects of the ecommerce business, including revenue, costs, and profitability.

 

2- Digital Conversion & Retention Performance Optimization:

  • Manage the eCommerce sales funnel and the distribution model and deliver on high digital penteration from overall book.
  • Working with cross-functional teams and marketing to Increase eCommerce conversions through continuesly targeted campaigns, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities to grow eCommerce portfolio.
  • Implement strategies to retarget and recovering dropout lost customers and convert into sales
  • Boost retention rate, own the digital retention and conversions to boost E2E renewals. Develop retention model with its value proposition, implement strategies to reduce churn and improve retention through loyalty programs, subscription modelsand other retention-focused initiatives to sustain lifetime value with active
  • Co-manage product & commercial development, working colsely with Product, Commerical Finance, Providers, etc. to optimize eCommerce pricing strategies, enhance product offering & improve conversion & retention.
  • Working with Commercial Finance to develop a dynamic pricing models that respond to demand and competitor activity based on Ecommerce propisiton.

 

3- Digital Marketing, New Business Acquisition & Customer Retention:

  • Retargeting in-active funnel to generate more business and drive traffic into the platform with the objective of boosting eCommerce overall sales.
  • Establish key traffic-driving online partnerships for B2B and B2C, manage and analyze the performance to increase parthenship value and boost traffic.
  • Working with Marketing to build and optimize acquisition strategies using multiple channels (SEO, SEM, social media, partnerships, etc.) to grow eCommerce traffic. Co-manage campaings and work collaprteivly with Marketing to continuously test and optimize campaigns to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Develop different traffic and business channels, expand into different online channels to boost the traffic and overall eCommerce sales.
  • Develop customer segmentation and personalization strategies to target the right audience

 

4- Customer Experience & Operating Model Excellence:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive best in class customer experience via strong SLA and data measurement with strong focus on selling and service culture.
  • Manage the eCommerce operating model, deliver on the operations KPIs.
  • Work with innovation, experience and IT teams to drive improvements in the eCommerce channel and up scale the digital experience.

 

5- Analytics & Driving Business Insights:

  • Define, report, and interpret analytic results. Working with analytics and performance teams to build regular performance dashboards and reports to senior leadership.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct competitive benchmarking.
  • Gather market feedback to understand competitors and create trends to incorporate it in the Ecommerce sales plan.
  • Monitor and analyze eCommerce funnel performance & recommend development plans.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to set up VoC programs, set mechanisms to collect real-time customer feedback, Analyze feedback to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
  • Leverage data insights to inform decision-making and refine the eCommerce growth strategies.

 

6- People Management & Team Development:

  • Foster a positive, creative and technologically-inspiring team environment.
  • Coach and develop associates to meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Ensure that the set objectives with the E-commerce team are followed and measured semi-annually and by year end according to HR policy; hence, evaluate each team member and give feedback accordingly.
  • Responsible for motivating and guiding the E-commerce team unit.
  • Conduct one to one review with E-commerce team to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide improvement insights.
  • Maintain a talent profile for recruiting within the unit in terms of new recruits or replacements

المهارات

  • +10 years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or growth strategy, with at least:
  • 5–7 years in a leadership role, managing cross-functional teams or departments.
  • Proven track record of growing ecommerce businesses, scaling operations, and delivering revenue targets.
  • Hands-on experience with P&L management and financial planning.
  • Ability to develop and implement long-term ecommerce growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, social media marketing, and email marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience with ecommerce management, website strategy, site functionality and/or end-user experience in a transactional environment
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
  • People Management Experience - Effective manager of people with strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative, thought-leader capable of innovating new ideas and articulating them into seamless execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management.
  • Ability to manage a diverse team and create an environment where associates are motivated to deliver high quality results
  • Self-starter who is passionate about achieving aggressive growth targets
