Role Purpose:
This key role is responsible for supporting the unit in day-to-day management of technical information security operations overseeing the overall operations of Bupa Arabia IT security operations, Information and Data security, and often including business continuity. The rule is more focus on the Endpoint and Client facing interfaces’ security.
Key Accountabilities:
1- Endpoint Security:
- Reports of security compliance matters
- Ensure that endpoint security processes and operational procedures are implemented and documented.
- Identify, attend to, and report on information security incidents as per the approved policy & procedures.
2-Applications Security:
- Ensure all applications, software and patches are updated as per the security best practices.
- Establish a secure configuration using industry-standard best security practices for operational applications and database deployments as first line of defense
3-Vulnerability Management:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessment scans/ Threat Hunting on enterprise IT assets and ensure vulnerabilities are mitigated.
- Ensure that all system components and software are protected from known vulnerabilities by installing applicable vendor-supplied security patches.
- Keep up to date with the security landscape, emerging threats, and vulnerabilities, and recommends measures to assess and mitigate security risk.
4-Incident Management.
- Respond to security incidents.
- investigate security breaches.
5-SIEM operation:
- Log source Integrations.
- Use case managements.
- Daily SIEM operations.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to educate audience about various security measures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with SIEM tool (preferably IBM Qradar)
- Experience with security software and hardware
- Experience with Incident response framework.
- Professional Cyber/IT security certification (Security+, CEH, eJPT, OCISP, eCIR, CISSP, etc..).
- Experience in an information security role.
- Solid knowledge of various information security frameworks.
